I have worked at Agros since October of 2002. Prior to coming to Agros, I lived in Honduras for 14 years, first as a Peace Corps volunteer and later as the office manager for a non-profit working in agricultural development in rural Honduras.
As the Program Accountant, I communicate often with the field office staff, ensuring they have the needed funds to execute planned activities, and clarifying and recording financial activities as reported. I am also involved with the annual audit, preparing schedules, and requesting documentation from the country offices.
Agros has been a great fit, a place where I am able to use my past experiences, and cultural familiarity and love of the Central American people at work. Over the past several years of working at Agros, I have had the opportunity to work alongside an amazing group of people dedicated to improving the lives of people living in Central America.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, reading and walking.
