Harvest Party Postponed

Thank you for your interest in Agros' annual Harvest Party. We have been closely following the local news and public health updates regarding the Coronavirus in the Seattle area, and in hopes of helping to protect the health of our whole community, we have opted to postpone Agros' annual Harvest Party, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, March 26. A new date will be announced soon, and we hope you will join us then. Once our new date is announced, registration for the event will be available on this page.

From the Field: Coronavirus Update

We know many of you are also concerned about our partner families in Central America. Coronavirus cases have been reported in Mexico and Costa Rica. As of March 10, no other cases have been reported in Central America. Due to their remote locations, most Agros villages will have an additional degree of protection. Regardless, we know the Coronavirus will continue to spread, and our staff is actively working to ensure the safety and well-being of all Agros families during this global health emergency.

We are coordinating with community health brigadistas, school teachers, and local government officials to lead a prevention campaign and establish chlorine stations in schools and in each village. We will work individually with the most vulnerable members of Agros villages to ensure they are aware of risks and preventive practices. We hope you might pray with us for continued strength and wisdom in Agros villages, in Seattle, and across the world as we tackle this challenge together. We will pray also for you and your family.

To make a gift supporting Agros' suite of holistic services, including health and well-being tactics like preventive trainings and chlorine stations in Agros villages, please donate here.

We are grateful for your prayers and support!
