At Camano Island Coffee Roasters our goal is to make a difference. We often say… “Finally… there is a coffee that helps you sleep at night!” No we’re not referring to the coffee in particular but rather to the concept behind our coffee. When you join our Coffee Lover’s Club, you become a partner with us to give something back to the families who grow our coffee. As a member, $1 of every package of coffee will be donated to Agros. Your coffee purchase will help to make life altering changes.
We are a certified organic, shade-grown, and fairly traded coffee company. We feel the key concept in our business should be sustainability; Making sure that no harm comes to our planet or our people. At the same time, we work to insure the availability of the world’s greatest coffees to our customers.
We support Agros because we feel they also understand sustainability. Instead of throwing money at a problem, Agros works to help rural, poor families acquire land, build village infrastructure, create strong community organizations, and develop economic capacity. We cannot find a better example of sustainability anywhere.
